Samuel G. DeSimone, Assignment Judge Superior Court – Retired

Judge DeSimone retired from the firm, having worked for ten years with John. He was a graduate of Paulsboro High School, Gettysburg College and Georgetown University School of Law. Even after retirement, he was a member of the New Jersey Bar having practiced law from 1960 until 1975 when he was appointed to the Bench. He served in every division of Superior Court and was the first appointed Assignment Judge of Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties. He served in that capacity for 18 years before retiring in March of 2000. Judge DeSimone handled the firm’s arbitration and mediation services and was recognized as an expert in the field of dispute resolution. He lectured nationally and internationally on judicial matters. He is the father of seven children, grandfather of 21 and great grandfather to 14, with two on the way. He and his wife, Eileen enjoyed 64 years of marriage. Leaving our firm with a solid foundation and a great legacy, Judge DeSimone passed away on October 10, 2019.
