The DeSimone Law Office was founded on September 1, 1999 by John G. DeSimone, Esquire. Since then, the Firm has grown considerably. Upon his retirement from the bench on March 31, 2000, Judge Samuel G. DeSimone, A.J.S.C.-Retired, joined as Counselor to the firm. Today, the firm consists of one attorney, six support staff members, independent contractors, and IT personnel. DeSimone Law Offices owes its far-reaching growth to its valued and wonderful patrons. Samuel G. DeSimone, Assignment Judge Superior Court – Retired

Judge DeSimone retired from the firm, having worked for ten years with John. He was a graduate of Paulsboro High School, Gettysburg College and Georgetown University School of Law. Even after retirement, he was a member of the New Jersey Bar having practiced law from 1960 until 1975 when he was appointed to the Bench. He served in every division of Superior Court and was the first appointed Assignment Judge of Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties. He served in that capacity for 18 years before retiring in March of 2000. Judge DeSimone handled the firm’s arbitration and mediation services and was recognized as an expert in the field of dispute resolution. He lectured nationally and internationally on judicial matters. He is the father of seven children, grandfather of 21 and great grandfather to 14, with two on the way. He and his wife, Eileen enjoyed 64 years of marriage.
